New Canadian Study Finds Critical Gaps in Holocaust Knowledge

Similar to a April 2018 survey in the United States, a new Canadian study by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany and the Azrieli Foundation found critical gaps both regarding awareness of historical basic facts about the Holocaust.

For example, 54 percent of those surveyed did not know that six million Jews were killed during the Holocaust. In addition, 52% of millennials cannot name even one concentration camp or ghetto.

There is a great need for Holocaust education.
